The first foal of the year

A tall, leggy dark bay 

Hershey is 10 days old, the weather is finally nice enough for him and his mom to spend the days outside, and I have finally gotten some photos. He is much stronger behind than when he was born. I will still expect quite a lot of improvement as he grows and gets stronger. He has quite a cute personality, and is already curious about his new pasture-mates, Lhindt and his mom Whichita. Birth report- Hershey arrived at the civilized hour of 8 pm. He's very tall and leggy with a sweet, friendly nature. He's still a bit wonky behind (down in the pasterns). I'll post pictures when he gets stronger and gets outside. The weather will HAVE to get warm soon, won't it?
