Broodmare Successes Rule at Rolling Stone Farm

Big news!  With the American Hanoverian Society rules changes in 2007, Reynah becomes an Elite Mare.  So, if my three new Elite Mare Candidates (Chee Chee, Wyneth L, and Chalk One Up) safely have their foals in 2008, I will have 18 Elite Mares in production.

Of these 18 EM's in my broodmare band, all but two (EM Amulet and EM Wolkenzauber) were either bought as young horses and then inspected and mare performance tested by us, or they were bred by us and then inspected and MPT'd by us.  Plus, we have a State Premium Mare in Germany that was bought by us as a two year old and was MPT'd in Germany ridden by my friend, Iris Borchers.  In addition, I bred, inspected and MPT'd 3 more EMC's which I sold, all by Gold Luck (Ghranada, Ghamma Ray and Ghrenadine), and one more EMC (Whindlass) which we still own.  I bred an Elite Mare (Dalliance) on whom someone else did the performance route, meanwhile achieving first place in the AHS All Breeds Award for second level.  I bred 2 more Elite Mares, by Gold Luck- EM Ghlycerine, who was inspected and tested by her amateur rider and who received her EM title posthumously after producing a filly via embryo transfer, and EM Ghloria.  I bred EMC Ghenoa, who won her MPT in 2007 ridden by her amateur owner.    All total, I have produced 27 EM's EMC's and SPS's from my program.  I have also bred and presented a licensed stallion (Shakespeare RSF).  I think this is probably an AHS record.  We will continue to produce Oldenburg and Hanoverian young horses.  I am excited about the 2008 foal crop we have coming!  We will present 5 three year old mares to the AHS in 2008, and will hopefully do the MPT on them all.  If they achieve EMC, they will produce one Hanoverian foal to obtain Elite Mare before producing Oldenburg foals.
